Enterprise Portals

One of the top IT spending priorities currently among businesses is enterprise portal solutions. Steve Butler examines the portal market, highlighting the software features researchers believe will improve portal deployment and participation.

The Delphi Group determined that during the past year, portal solution buyers have increasingly expressed an interest in the collaborative capabilities of enterprise portals. Other key portal features that customers are asking for include enterprise-wide search capabilities, in addition to a single sign-on for users and content management solutions as well.
