Ray Ceasar exposeert in New York
“For Caesar, who spent 17 years after college working as a graphic artist in the art and photography department of The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, his work is partly a reflection of images of abused and deformed children he saw there.
It’s also a window into a childhood that started in London, England, where as the youngest child Caesar said he was walked on a type of harness so he wouldn’t run into traffic and in general ‘always treated as a dog.’ His family also had money problems, and when he was eight or nine, he said, they moved to Canada to escape them.”
