Current TV, waar Al Gore achter zit, lijkt op Blog TV, volgens Nick Mathisen op The Ill Quill. Ook Adrants schrijft er over: “The network, through its Current Studio, will provide support to those who wish to create content which will be segmented into Current Soul, Current Gigs, Current Fashion, Current Lies, Current Tech as well as news supplied by Google.”

En wat zegt Current er zelf over: “So, we’re creating a network in short form. Whenever you tune in to Current, you’ll see something amusing, inspiring or interesting. And then, three minutes later, you’ll see something new. It’ll be a video iPod stocked with a stream of short segments and set to shuffle.”
