Apple-oprichter Steve Jobs overleden
Steve Jobs is op 5 oktober jl. op 56-jarige leeftijd overleden. Bij de in augustus afgetreden CEO en mede-oprichter van Apple werd in 2004 alvleesklierkanker geconstateerd. In 2009 onderging hij o.a. een levertransplantatie. Steve Jobs zal door veel mensen herinnerd worden als een visionair, mentor en als de rebel van Sillicon Valley. Op de website van Apple is een in memoriam te vinden.
Apple bracht het trieste nieuws op 5 oktober middels een persbericht op de eigen site naar buiten. Tim Cook stuurde daarnaast direct een e-mail naar alle werknemers van Apple.

Steve Jobs stond niet alleen aan de wieg van Apple, maar was ook vroeg betrokken bij Pixar Animation Studios en was hiermee de grootste aandeelhouder van Disney Inc.

Grappig dat juist hier op marketingfacts niemand echt door heeft wat Jobs met die quote bedoelde anders zou men juist op een website als deze zich zeer in den aarsch genaaid voelen;-)
