Inkomstenbronnen Amerikaanse weblogs
Op basis van de top-30 meest bezochte weblogs, heeft Darren Rowse een overzicht gemaakt van de inkomstenbronnen. Als aanvulling heeft hij ook nog een toelichting geschreven over het feit dat Google Adsense niet altijd geschikt is als inkomstenbron voor weblogs.
Opvallende cijfers waaruit blijkt dat de top-30 weblogs (volgens sitemeter; weblogs als boingboing staan niet in deze lijst) vooral kiezen voor BlogAds (77%), affiliateprogramma’s (o.a. Amazon) (57%) en donatiebutton (40%). Google Adsense wordt slechts door 27% van de weblogs gebruikt.
